An outstanding petrophysicist and a 40+ year veteran in the Oil & Gas Industry, Steve has extensive experience, both domestic and abroad, successfully exploring for and locating productive new oil reserves. Steve’s expertise centers on integrating geology and petrophysics with both 3D and 2D seismic to define optimal drilling targets utilizing a proprietary combination of old-school techniques and state-of-the-art software technology.

Steve has been called a “four-wheel drive” geologist who can always be counted on to get the job done, and done correctly. He has been credited with two new field discoveries and most recently added 5.3 million barrels in reserves in the Permian Basin of West Texas. Previously, he spent 18 years working in California’s San Joaquin and Ventura basins and the Santa Barbara Channel where he was responsible for adding more than 15 million barrels in reserves. In addition, Steve served as the Exploration Manager for an independent oil company; as the Chief of Oil & Gas Operations for all federal lands in California; and, as Manager of the Oil & Gas Division of a leading international consulting company. His vast experience covers 11 states in the U.S. and 5 countries internationally.

Dan Gish, CEO

Dan has 40+ years’ experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, with more than 20 years spent in international assignments around the world. His passion is recognizing and creating high value prospect portfolios which typically involves integrating more efficient, leading-edge technology.

Dan’s extensive experience includes his work with numerous major O&G companies – Amoco, Arco, UPRC, Anadarko – as well as founding several junior startup companies. He has also served on numerous Boards, including as CEO and President of several public companies. Most recently, Dan served as Vice President, Exploitation for all U.S. operations for a public MLP, where he managed an integrated staff of nearly 40 reservoir engineers, geologists, geophysicists, and implemented a new, proprietary technology throughout the company. Under Dan’s tenure, the company experienced unprecedented growth.
